I think we've had maybe two or three outages in that time, but all at the data center's router or something. The first time Mephisto was dugg, I was able to get immediate support when things started crashing. After discovering that a suboptimal configuration for php was the root cause, Bradley helped me optimize the settings so I could survive the rest of the digg that day. I also can't say enough good things about Engineyard either. It's nice to have two top notch specialized ruby hosts available.
